Wilpattu national park is located in the North Western province and North Central province of Sri Lanka and its special feature is the existence of natural lakes. This National park for spans almost 131, 693 hectares and it is the largest and the oldest National park in Sri Lanka. It is located in the semi-arid zone of Sri Lanka.
